About Me
I’ve always imagined myself having a career in something that I
have a passion for, a career I will be eager and motivated to perform my daily obligations. Ideally, this dream was always to be a professional athlete (much like 95% of the population). As I matured, I realized that I would much rather pursue a career that fosters the connection between the economy, money markets, and how they essentially control the world. Pursuing a financial career may have changed my long-term goals that came with being a professional athlete, but I am now looking into my future with more anticipation than ever before.
After receiving a BBA degree in Finance from Mays Business School, I plan on becoming a certified Chartered Financial Analyst. Through hands-on experience in the workplace, my knowledge of the field (budgeting, analysis, risk management, and other accounting principles) would increase significantly. With this increased experience, I would better, not only my understanding in the field, but also become a reliable asset to my employer. While improving my understanding of financial studies, my long-term goal would be to earn the prestigious title of CFO of a large firm, preferably my own.
